Care of Your Book

Do not store your handbound book in direct sunlight as fading could occur over time. High humidity and extremes of temperature should be avoided as well. No leather dressing, oil or wax should ever be applied to the leather as this can hasten deterioration over the years. Finally, store your books standing upright on the bottom edge or laying flat - leaning a book will weaken the spine over time.
